Unlike a static QR code, a POP1 Dynamic QR does not permanently lock the printed code to one website. The QR stays on your packaging or print while its destination is managed separately.

Change the link later
Need it to go somewhere else? Ask POP1 to update the destination. Your already-printed QR remains exactly the same.
Where does POP1 appear?
The QR uses a qr.pop1prints.com/… short address to make destination changes possible. Some phones may show that address in the scan preview, but there is no POP1 landing page — opening the scan forwards the visitor directly to your chosen page.

What is a Dynamic QR code?
A Dynamic QR uses a permanent printed QR while the destination is managed separately. That means the link can be changed later without replacing or reprinting the QR artwork.
Can I change the destination after my packaging has been printed?
Yes. That is the main benefit of a POP1 Dynamic QR. The printed QR stays exactly the same while we update the destination assigned to it.
Does the person scanning land on a POP1 page?
No. The POP1 address handles the redirect in the background and forwards the visitor to the destination currently assigned to your QR. Some phones may show the short POP1 address in the scan preview before opening it.
Can I change the destination more than once?
Yes. An active POP1 Dynamic QR can be updated again when your website, campaign, social profile or store link changes.
Can you redirect a QR I made somewhere else?
Not if it is a normal static QR already encoded with another website address. POP1 can only change the destination of a POP1 Dynamic QR created through our managed redirect system.
What can I link a Dynamic QR to?
Any valid http or https destination, such as a website, Whatnot store, Instagram profile, Linktree, campaign page or another web address.
How quickly can an existing POP1 Dynamic QR be updated?
Destination change requests are completed within 1 business day. We will email you when the new destination has been applied.
